EL SOL AUTHENTIC MEXICAN CUISINE

EL SOL RESTAURANT was established in 1982; a partnership between Reynaldo Sr. and Beatrice Orozco and three of their children Reynaldo Jr., Yolanda and Armando.  They strived for perfection and upheld an establishment which welcomed guests as if it was their home.  Long time patrons reminisce about tours of their kitchen and sharing their dreams of owning a restaurant.  Of course, the Rodeo Residents welcomed them with open arms and the rest is history.

Now, EL SOL is owned and managed by Armando & Josephine Orozco.  They've expanded their services to provide Fiesta Trays and Catering Services.

EL SOL is a proud sponsor for a variety of sports organizations, educational programs and local non-profit groups.  The success of their Anniversary Fiesta, held every May, enables their establishment to continue to support the groups that interest them the most, those that help the children of their community.

Over the years, EL SOL has kept up the family tradition and maintains the family recipes.  They use the finest Mexican products to create a unique taste; use the freshest vegetables everyday to provide a savoring, mouthwatering menu.

EL SOL is proud to serve patrons from Contra Costa, Alameda, Solano, and Napa Counties.  We welcome new customers everyday, and are pleased to see those who have moved away but find their way back to our establishment for an old familiar meal.

DIRECTIONS  from Oakland or Fairfield: Take Interstate 80 East (from Oakland) or Take Interstate 80 West (from Fairfield).  Take the Willow Avenue Exit. Turn Right onto Willow Avenue.  Willow Avenue turns into Parker Avenue as you pass the stop light at the San Pablo Avenue intersection.  Make a Left onto 2nd Street.  Make a quick Left onto Pacific Avenue.  We're located on the right side, 224 Pacific Avenue.
